Micah Richards was interviewed by Talksport about his life in Italy and also a possible move to Inter:
“I am enjoying this season at Fiorentina and in Italy. It’s a very different league from the Premier League and it was tough in the beginning. The coach Montella took me to the side and told me many times that this isn’t the Premier League and that I had to see how this league works. Here everything is based on the tactics and the best players don’t always play, but those who are seen as adapted to every single game will play. This helped me and I’m happy to be here. I prefer to play as a wing back more than a central defender even though here in Italy I play in a back three many times. My future? It’s hard to say anything now, the Premier League is the best and most exciting league in the world but I repeat it’s hard to say what will happen during the summer. I was also contacted by Inter and my former coach Roberto Mancini which means I’ll have a couple of paths to take, I will play where I’ll have the best possibilities to play. I am 26 years old and will be a bosman player, I’d like to join a great club but first of all I want to find a team where I can play a lot. Mancini is trying to build a great team for the next season.”
