Serbian Sinisa Mihajlovic was interviewed on Rai Sport after tonight’s 1-0 win against Inter. Here are his words:
What did you say to Mancini? Where can you go from here?
“I did not say anything as we had not seen. It was a difficult game because we were up against the best Inter of the season and we had to suffer. The draw would have been a fairer result. Around the team there is a lot of enthusiasm but we must remain down-to-earth to see where we can get to at the end of the season.”
You played with a trident today?
“We must find the right balance. Yes there are three tips but Eder and Eto’o sacrifice so much and allow me to deploy the trident. I thank them for their availability. We have many solutions to change the form of the team.”
Your future?
“I don’t know and I don’t read what the newspapers say about me. We have a big squad with good players and we put team goals ahead of personal ones. Now there is much self confidence thanks to the positive results. Winning helps to win but we have to stay humble and keep doing what we’re doing.”
Inter had a lot of possession while you chose to counter?
“Yes, we have prepared well because we knew that they are good at keeping the ball but with Muriel, Eder and Eto’o we knew we could embarrass Inter on the counter attack.”
