Ex Inter striker Mohamed Kallon has been speaking to Inter Channel today after an event for the International Day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.
The Sierra Leone forward spoke about a range of topics including Mauro Icardi, Inter Forever and Racism in Italian football.
Icardi:
“For me he’s a great talent and has proven it despite this difficult time for the team. If Inter can focus on him and Mateo Kovacic in the next few years I’m sure it will help the team a lot.”
Racism:
“I played in Italy and experienced racist chanting. It’s not nice and I still struggle to understand why. We’re doing everything we can to defeat the issue. Everyone has the right to play without any problems.”
Inter Forever:
“It was an amazing feeling to step back out onto the turf at the Meazza. I didn’t expect such a great ovation. I would like to thank Francesco Toldo and the Inter Forever staff for giving me the chance to wear the Nerazzurri colours once again. It’s a fantastic idea to bring so many former Inter players together.”
