According to today’s edition of British tabloid The Daily Mail, Manchester United are ready to let Robin Van Persie leave in order to revolutionise their attack for next season.

The Dutch striker, 31, is expected to leave due to his poor performances this season as the English club look to pursue Edinson Cavani and Memphis Depay.

Van Persie’s contract will expire in June 2016 and it is understood that United are willing to pay the remaining half of a £10M loyalty bonus, agreed when he joined from Arsenal in 2012, to let the striker leave early.

Inter, Juventus and Lazio have all been linked with the Dutchman’s signature and United are willing to take a cut price fee, as they realise Van Persie would have to take a significant pay cut off his £250,000 a week wages to come to Serie A.
