Berlusconi: “I don’t like teams like Inter, I want an all-Italian Milan”

During the lengthy interview on Telenord, Milan president Silvio Berlusconi also spoke of excess of foreign players in Serie A: “To the fans I say that I will only leave Milan in safe hands: if this does not happen, I have a project to make a team with only Italian players, a sort of national team in a league where others have really exceeded with foreign imports. Just think that last year’s Coppa Italia Final had just one Italian starting and our Azzurri Coach had to call up Oriundi (a word applied to immigrants who are of Italian descent but were born outside the country ed.) to make a competitive side. I don’t like teams like Inter, which has ten foreigners and a beast: Ranocchia.”
