After a 1-1 draw with Pescara that ended just minuted ago Bologna have now secured promotion and will return to the Serie A next season. This brings some positive news for Inter ahead of the summer mercato as Bologna’s promotion triggers the immediate purchase of on-loan player, Ibrahima Mbaye. The newly promoted team will have to pay a sum of approximately 3m for the permanent services of the Senegalese defender. Mbaye is now tied to Bologna until 2019.
