While it is mercato madness we thought it might be a good idea to break it off with something else, maybe a bit random. How about taking a look at Southampton in the Premier League? Now, you may be wondering: what does that have to do with Inter and Serie A? Well, at first not much, but sometimes you need a break from the rumor mill.

So please, humor us, do not worry, we will still publish all mercato madness rumors we can find. The latest is about Ibrahimovic (!) to Inter, and honestly my heart cannot take the thought even. Ibra in serie A in my opinion equals a CL spot. But let us not get derailed here. Southampton, Inter, Italians, where do we start?

Talking about Southampton, their fans can still enjoy some Italian flair at their ground by buying Southampton tickets. If all of them are sold out, don’t worry, they may be available on Ticketbis absolutely secure website, where people resell their tickets for lots of events if they cannot attend them.

Italian striker Graziano Pelle continues to delight his fans at St Mary’s Stadium. Pelle has been rumored to be of interest for several Italian clubs, but he has made it clear that he prefers the Premier League and Southampton for now.

How about the crazy but also brilliant striker Pablo Daniel Osvaldo, who is in his best moment? He was transferred to Southampton in 2013 for 15 million euros but ended up only playing 13 games and scoring three goals during his six-month stay in the Premier League. Safe to say he did not meet the high expectations and was loaned out to Juventus after six months, but the Italian champions did not want to sign the striker on a permanent deal. Osvaldo then joined Inter on a loan deal with a right to buy and started off the season very well under Walter Mazzarri and most interisti hoped that the Southampton loanee would continue to show his skills under this club.

Unfortunately, as we all know, Osvaldo instead, as many other times during his career, ended up ruining things for himself by attempting to fight teammate Mauro Icardi after not receiving a pass versus Juventus. The row continued in the dressing room and rumor has it that Osvaldo and Roberto Mancini’s argue had a falling out which then lead to Mancini not wanting the player around anymore. Osvaldo then joined Boca Juniors on yet another six-month loan deal, and there things mostly seem to have been rather calm besides rumors on bad behavior off the pitch. Southampton have officially announced that they are ending their contract with Pablo Osvaldo, so this means he is a free agent this summer, thus it will be interesting to see whether he returns to Europe or stays in Argentina.

Okay, so, we could not leave the mercato all out of this. Where do you readers think Osvaldo will end up? And, is there any chance of an Ibra’s return, even though it seems more likely that he will end up in Milan? Would you like the Swede back?
