Danilo D’Ambrosio has spoke to journalists following this afternoon’s friendly win against Carpi, which saw D’Ambrosio play the first 45 minutes at right back.
“It was a tougher test for us today. It was really hot out there and the tempo was a bit slower. We tried to reproduce what we’ve been practising this week but there’s still room for improvement.”
On Roberto Mancini:
“The gaffer is really motivated and we’re all looking to him, taking his advice on board and putting it into practice.”
Where do Inter need to strengthen?
“I’m not going to talk about the transfer market. Technically there are some areas where we can improve.”
You have been linked with a move away from Inter. Your thoughts?
“There has been some interest in me and it’s always nice but the club and I have decided to go on together. Big clubs are always going to sign players but the rumours don’t affect the way we train or the mood in the camp.”
First impression of Geoffrey Kondogbia?
“He’s a strong player with great technique.”
