Inter have won their second pre season friendly of the new season at their training camp in Brunico after scoring another four goals. Roberto Mancini’s men beat Carpi 4-2 to add to the 4-3 win against Stuttgarter Kickers four days ago.
It was another good first half performance as Rodrigo Palacio scored early on before the Serie A newcomers pegged Inter back through a Kevin Lasagna strike.
Inter hit back immediately through a Mauro Icardi header before Hernanes scored a fantastic free kick to give Inter a 3-1 lead at half time.
Roberto Mancini changed the whole team at half time and despite all the changes, Inter scored their fourth through Samuele Longo on 47 minutes.
Ryder Matos pulled another goal back for Carpi but it wasn’t enough as the match finished in a 4-2 win for Inter.
There was a particularly pleasing outing from new signing Geoffrey Kondogbia who impressed with his passing and speedier performance in the first half.
