Danilo D’Ambrosio is disputed by West Ham and Schalke according to reports from TuttoSport who give updates on the situation.
The former Torino full back was excluded from the squad that took on Galatasaray in a friendly at the weekend and has understood that he is seen as surplus by Inter.
D’Ambrosio also has interest from Serie A (Juventus and Napoli) as well but will decide calmly his next destination.
When Nagatomo and D’Ambrosio have left, Inter will look to sign a new left sided full back with Criscito, Clichy and Telles at the top of the list.

we should go for Mayke. seems to be a good player. sell Yagatomo. D’ambrissio not so sure. he seemed to be a decent player. not flamboyant but solid in defence. and Santon ws also good and can play on both sides but is injury prone.
Why not try Adriano from barca before Roma snatches him up. He’s always delivered when offered a chance. Unfortunately for him, Alba and Alves are not easy to move..

If he only costs 25m, chelsea would’ve snapped him up. He’s worth way more than that considering how important he’s to Wolfsburg. Shame we didn’t persist on Darmian. 20m is nth for a player of his quality.
I think it would be good to have Criscito or any FB from list and Juan/Dodo on one side and Montoya + Santon on other.

He is being injured since before the end of last season. I think he just started training a couple of days ago. They will try to unload him too, but it will be difficult due to his lack of fitness.
He still cannot run properly but he said he will be ready for new season(he said this in beginning of July). So we can expect him to start train soon.
Walter Mazzari cried desperately for this guy. He wanted him so bad that he convinced management to give away half of Benassi to Torino to get D’Ambrossio. We ended up lossing Benassi (a very promissing midfielder) this year with the ending of co-ownerships. Now we have to sell D’Ambrossio because he is officially a flop. The only thing that bothers me is that we loose another italian player. With DAmbrossio and Longo gone we only have Ranochia and Santon as Italian players in the team. And I guess most of us, would like to see those two gone too.
Well, I don’t know which Italian player that has high quality and not too old nowadays.
thats part of the reason why I want to replace D’Ambrosio with Criscito, but I don’t care too much about having Italians in the first team considering we’re Internazionale and our treble winning side didn’t have a single Italian in the first team either (Motta was still declared Brazilian at the time)
and you are proud of that right ? 99% of the gameday revenues from playing at home come from Italians paying in Euros…….don’t you think that the fans want HOME GROWN TALENT ??? Yes, I am proud to support a team that broke a race barrier over 100 years ago that still plagues Italian football today, mostly from merda affiliated with AC Bilan and Jubentus. Last time I checked AC Bilan aren’t exactly filling the San Siro every week either, leading to them building a new stadium and Inter wanting to renovate the San Siro into something else Inter fans can be proud of!
so let me get this straight….you would rather see Inter renovate a stadium that they do not own and give a certain portion of the game day revenues away basically as for rent than to build a stadium of your own ? so instead of having a state-of-the-art modern stadium that every team in Italy desperately needs you would rather be cheap and take a run down has-been of a stadium and fix it up? how do you ever expect to win another scudetto with that provincial mentality ??
First, Thohir has already said he wants to buy out the San Siro so that Inter own it completely. Second, you can easily renovate a stadium like the San Siro to be a state-of-the-art modern stadium if you have the money to do so, which Thohir does. Third, I expect to win another Scudetto very soon, Inter had their 5 Scudetti in a row and ended the run with a TREBLE, and now Jube have fallen just short with 4 in a row and losing in the CL final, so I feel like it might just be time to see Nerazzurro hanging from the Scudetto trophy once again!
I wanna bang Frederica Nagri let’s see who will get lucky first !! First off, AC Milan tried that and when it was not an option they will build their new stadium. Secondly, Inter is 220 million in debt + whatever Mancini has added to that so what money does INTER have considering that Mr Thohir will not add personal wealth to create a stadium ?? Thirdly, Inter worked hard for their 6th, 9th, 5th and 8th place finishes over the last 4 years. They did their best but let’s face it…..INTER SUCKS !!!

Ok, so worst case scenario Inter either also build a new stadium of their own or continue to pay rent at a renovated San Siro which has never hindered Inter’s profits. Also, Thohir cleared that debt within a few months of becoming president of Inter. Mancini realistically hasn’t spent a considerable amount thanks to the “Inter system” of payment that we’ve used on nearly every signing Inter has made thus far. Thohir himself has expressed several times that he’s committed to the project at Inter and has no problem in spending the money to do so. Lastly, they may have “worked hard”, but no matter how hard a team works you can’t beat talent that also works hard. Jube has had by a good margin the most talented team in Italy the past 4 seasons, and as expected they won the Scudetto the past 4 years. Just the same as Inter had the most talented team and was expected to win the Scudetto from 2006-2010, as we did, so I’m curious to see what happens when Jube and Inter have equal amounts of talent. Who will become the superior team? I already know my votes for Inter, while yours is for Jube, but we’ll see come 5/15/16

I have to disagree with you on him being a flop. All of us talk about Santon, because of 3 great game he had in a row. I see D’Ambro to be more consistant, and physically superior to Santon, and all other backs on the team except JJ. D’Ambro’s drilling wasn’t as good as Santon, but he is so much better than him in defending.
I rank Montoya very close to D’Ambro. It was such a shame to let him go before we send other backs away (Naga and Dodo)
Agreed. I dont get why santon gets all the love and danilo the hate. Danilo is more solid and chips in with a goal or too. He is a good squad player and does a lot of the dirty work. Only reason hes getting sold is because santon rejected transfers at the beg of the window.
Montoya is a liability for now. He doesnt defend well and his attacking play is average. His days w barca were detrimental since he didnt have to grow much because he was in such a strong team… in a league wjere theres a huge divide betwenn tbe top 3 and the also rans…
Sadly dambrosio and nagatomo are our two best fullbacks… thats our current state of affairs. Shame they will both get moved on.

No freaking way dd is better than Montoya, he just arrived firstly…and have u seen dd play, adds nothing to the game, can’t cross effectively and couldn’t even play well against a 3rd tier team like s.kickers
Mazzari wanted the next maggio. Dambrosio was excellent with torino but hasnt shown the same type of play since coming to us.

santon is a good player. also he can play both on the right and the left. we can use him to good effect. not too sure about Ranocchia.

But i would love to see Criscito in Inter, i know he comes from Juve academy but we need Italians in squad and this one is good. I remember Juve wanted him last year.
Juve have taken some of Inter’s academy players that move elsewhere so why not do the same to them?

I’ve never heard of fans hating him because he came from Juve’s academy, imo that’d be an odd thing to hate a player for because normally they just go with whichever team is willing to give them a chance. Take Balotelli and Santon for example, both self-proclaimed Milanisti, but came up in Inter’s youth team.

probably, just goes to show you the effect of proper coaching.. when rano first came here he showed good signs but then mazz took over and converted to 3 at the back and everything nosedived… meanwhile bonucci had 4 solid years under conte.
yea the 3 back formation certainly doesn’t suit Ranocchia at all, especially playing as the RCB because his agility is atrocious, and all the coaching changes in his formative years has really caused him to never find his identity as a defender. Personally, I feel like unless we see some drastic improvements with him this season he is a completely lost cause if he isn’t one already..
If Bonucci stayed with Inter he would be even shittier than Ranocchia because inter cannot develop Italian youth players !
