It would be nice if we could get a high profile midfielder like draxler or Oscar or another with good vision and ability to replace Kova. The thing I’ll miss most is his incredible vision for through balls. It was great.
What amount, that’s bullshits?!?! Milan buy fucking Romagnioli for 25 million, who has just one decent season in mid table team. Chelsea paid 25 million for world unknown 20 years old ghanaian left back Baba from Augsburg! What we will gonna do with that “amount”? Buying more Schelotto’s, Pereira’s, Silvestre’s? Yep that is my fear too. We sell quality and buy three or four substandard journeymen who bloat the squad and who we cannot sell later.
We should have kept KOva …however no player is bigger than the club….we will be ok if we can sign Perisic…Nasri..and Contrao …we will also be ok if MAncini stops playing players out of position specially in Midfield …imean look at Kondo at times he seams to be lost on the pitch ….plus 4-3-1-2 is not our formation we wont win with that shit….4-2-3-1..or 4-3-3 is what he needs to use…..why cant he play….Placio…Icardi…Jovetic upfront for now until we get new players …

Yeah I decide to move on. Sama situation happened when we lost Ibra, but we got Etoo and Sneijder. I hope we can get 2-3 high profile players. In my opinion we really need to get another full-back, CM with creativity and offensive-minded character like Sneijder, Kroos, or Iniesta (we only have Hernanes and we can’t rely on Guarin), a wide attacker who can also play as striker. If it’s possible we should buy another striker for Icardi’s backup.
So far here’s my shortlist:
FB: Coentrao / Criscito
MF: Joao Moutinho, Roberto Soriano, anyone else??? (I can’t think any name for this position)
WG: Mertens, Gabbiadini, Berrardi, (it will be awesome if we can get Gabbiadini and Berrardi), Perisic
Backup striker : Balotelli or Borini (we can get either one of them in low cost), Destro

We need to get younger players with resale value. We are no longer a financial powerhouse who can afford to sell players and replace them with older experienced players. We should be looking for players 21 to 23 who have potential to be better. That is the only way we are gonna get back to the top.

Tbh, Pogba >> Kovacic. He’s consistent and proven, we saw real qualities on him, not only a glimpse of qualities like Kovacic did at Inter. And you should build a team around players like that, because you know they can deliver good results. It’s almost similar to Icardi case, where he’s young and scores 20+ goals and there’s no way Inter would want to release him because it’ll be even a harder task to replace him.
Are you serious?? Are you comparing Kovacic to Pogba and Gareth Bale? The difference is Kovacic is talented but inconsistent, while Pogba and Bale are already quality proven players. As much as i like the kid but your comparison is not even relevant.

I have no doubt that Kovacic will be a big player in the future. But based on the PRESENT he’s nowhere near Pogba’s or Bale’s level. As you’ve said it yourself, he’s is still a TALENT not a proven star yet. So you can tell everybody that he will prove this or prove that, but i guess we’ll just have to wait and see as time will tell whether he’ll make it or not. Until then there is no comparison between Kovacic and Pogba or Bale. Let’s keep it realistic.

I’m really disappointed we have to sell Kovacic, but I completely understand. He is a talent but he never provided the consistency we need. There is something that never really linked between Icardi and him. So if we can get $35+, we gotta take it.
Our future in the center of the field is amazing. Kondogbia is a promising, strong player. Medel is one of the top CDM’s in all of futbol. Gnoukouri is a future Serie A star. Brozovic is solid. Hernanes and Guarin have the talent.
Icardi is our young star. Not only is he our future, but he’s also proven to be fantastic the last few years. Our defense is much improved with Murillo and Miranda leading the effort. Jovetic is proven in Serie A and he came for half the cost of Kovacic.
i think we can make more than 35M, even Illaramendi was 30M bro. come on the club that make an offer to us is Real Madrid it isn’t Real Zaragoza or Real Sociedad.

Thank you for pointing out the things I wanted to point. Kovacic is a great, humble kid with lots of promise and he was my favourite player the last couple seasons. So it’s hard to let him go but it’s also inevitable and necessary.
the fact that Kova never had consistency and never linked to Icardi well in a 8th placed team of Seri A doesnt link well witht he fact that teams like Real Madrid and Barca are interested in him and pull out 35M +bonus to get him, does it? something must be missing here in the logic.
This is how you have to look at it. We lost Kovavic because of Mancini. Basically Mancini preferred one unproven player (Kondogbia, 35M) over another largely unproven player (Kovacic, 35M). Inter does’nt have money like Mancini has pretty much said himself…so he would’nt have bought Kondo if he thought Kovacic was really important to him. Now we just have to wait and see if Mancini was right. Third place or he can pack his bags, very simple.
Something tells me Kovacic will be better of at Barcelona than Madrid. I don’t see him benching any of their current stars. He’ll beg to go on loan after 2 seasons on the bench

I think Brozo could be really good but he looks like a pass and move player and he seems to be struggling in Inters static midfield. No doubt he will be another we sell cheap and watch thrive somewhere else.
