According to Sky Sport 24, Mateo Kovacic is only details from being a Real Madrid player: at this moment, Inter and the Spanish powerhouse are exchanging the signatures that will bring the Linz-born talent to Madrid. After the bureaucratic procedures, it could already be time to make the move official. The final transfer sum is 35 million excluding bonuses.

what the f**k really? i just come back from vacation and i read this news this is unbelieveable s**t , i feel sad really sad shaqiri and this oh man i dont know what to say. f**k you thohir and mancio!
What’s wrong with this management? keep guaro and sell kova? WTH?
well I knew it coming, since buy Kondogbia from borrowed money of Thohir..
Loan is a loan, no matter what it must be paid back.. and Kova’s sales makes sense.. So if u guys think we’re gonna use the money for buying player a, b, c… yea, dont…
we’re just gonna use the money to pay back Thohir for the purchase of Kondogbia…
Sad, i get to see rannochia, hernanes, all the deadweight playing for inter, for another year…..
When Hernanes come, I have a high hope for him. Yet, it showed that Lazio level is different with Inter.
This is what I have tried to say all the 3 days ago!
Sad moment, good old days when we all saw him first in Strama’s team which was incredibly amazing..woha
🙂
_I_ mancio _I_
The door is always open for u kova… 🙁
no it won’t, you think real will ever sell him for less than double?
We can, if Kovacic can’t compete with the galacticos of madrid, they gonna put a sale on him, at least for half price …. I wish Lol
Look at what happened with Nuri Sahin a couple of seasons ago
i’m surprised that many fans don’t see the pattern in this! it’s the same f’ing mistake over and over and over again!! yes 35 mil is a good price for kova, but still, even under thohir we keep losing our talents and regretting it 2 years later. we don’t believe in our youngsters and we don’t wait for them to develop! many fans forget that we actually lost 3 great talents this summer. benassi who has immense potential was lost to torino. for what? torino paid 3.8 mil for half of benassi! do you think that’s wise? we lost shaqiri for a profit of 2 mil!! wow, what a steal! and now kova, who will probably become a world class star! and this sounds so familiar to me: bergkamp, carlos, pirlo, coutinho, bonucci, destro, and the list goes on. we are amazing at destroying talent or losing it. and for those who mention gnoukouri, unless a miracle happens, we’ll end up sending him on loan to this club and that club until we sell him to trapani for 150 thousand! that’s what we usually do with talent.
I think you don’t understand what it means to be a big team, an european powerhouse. Youngsters cannot just walk into a big team just based on potential and talents you have to be exceptional like a Messi and or Ronaldo to grab that status in a Powerhouse. Inter cannot afford to wait on Kovacic to develop into a big player, big teams sell players with potential not hold onto them awaiting potential to manifest itself. Barcelona sold fabrigas, Bojan and Afellay they all had potential like Kovacic. People complain about Coutinho, he is a good player for an avreage Liverpool side who would be fighting for a Europa League place
a big team like barca gives many of it’s youngsters a chance, some subsitute appearances or games against lesser teams. look at their bench, sergi roberto, samper, rafinha, thiago (before he left), even montoya was given enough chances before barca decided he wasn’t good enough. how many games or years did we give benassi? how about destro? bonucci? or pirlo for that matter? it’s funny that we gave jonathan, alvarez or schelotto so many chances before realizing that they are average at best, but when it comes to youngsters, one below par performance is enough to send him on loan or sell him outright! successful big teams gradually introduce their youngsters into the first team, they give them enough chances before selling or loaning them out. but i’ve never seen inter do that. i don’t even remember a single youngster who came through our youth system and became a reliable first team player in the last 20 years. compare that to other teams and say that our youth treatment is alright!
Mmm we have always introduce new youngster players every season, and based on their chances, they werent worth to play for inter yet. What we saw is a raw potential meanwhile some of us conplaining when we played with youngsters just as in recent friendlies. We cant wait for many seasons thus they can establish themself to be a auality players. And every club did that. Same talents are success and failed. Talented players are a commodity in this footvlball era
I do agree with you on complaining. I always thinking, we got a paradox expectation. It is hard to win the title if we mainly rely on young player. So, if we want to give more chances, don’t expect too much. Barca already got the team identity, the youngster just need to settle in. While, we constantly change coach and the philosophy of it.
Your mistake is believing that Inter is still a big team financially. You compare us to Barcelona who spent 70 odd million on Suarez, the same on Neymar, as well as buying numerous players for 30 million+. Real Madrid are the same, as are the really big English teams and I would say Juventus is on the edge of this group. I am sorry to burst your bubble but financially Inter are WAY off. We struggle to muster 15 million to buy players. We have been buying mediocre players since the treble. When Inter were spending big, yeah I agree we cannot wait for youngsters to develop but now? We sell our young talented players who have the potential to other clubs and buy in donkeys who have been muddling around in the lower teams and never quite made the big time. How many average players have we bought in the last few years? Too many. Instead of clearing out the junk buying one or two good young players with potential, giving players like Crisetig and Benassi a proper chance and combining them with a few senior players, we sell or loan all our good young players, buy in old journeymen players and ruin the quality of our squad.
exactly sam. we sign jonathan, botta,m’vila or schelotto and give them many chances to shine, and we know than none of them are top class or with real potential, and we refuse to wait for youngsters to blend in and get experience.
And that’s how football is working bro. People come and go. Every club did it. They are selling and buying.
you hold on to what is precious, for god sake if Wolfsburg can hold on to Persic, if Juventus refused 80m for pogba we could hold on to Kovacic he will be a legend
Pogba will be eventually sold by juve. Mark my word. Juve can hold it because they have huge revenue from vidal, they expected it’s the best time to sell him because his price might be decreased next season. But pogba will never lost demand from big clubs because he has proved himself as one of the best youngster in the world. Meanwhile, we dont have much revenue, therefore we cant reject this kind of money for th he sake of the team in a whole.
I do agree on Pogba.
Kasper, its hard to explain .. when you talk to some people here you realize they actually never have seen a game …there is a partern and god knows the worst is yet to come
You better stop acting like you are always right and respect other’s opinion.
act, oh boy.. are you one of those sensative fellas, i dont act, and am not always right, i agree with his shining opinion, i am sored with the sale and more with the comeback of mancini so dont let your anger on me, call Morratti .. he hired him
Yep I understand we are all furious. And I am not angry to you at all. You just have to respect the other opinion if you are disagree with them, not insulting them or whatsoever.. well just saying bro
i only insult one guy on this site his name i miss Branca, and he is a juv fan and he passes by to indulge himself so i give him piece of my mind, other than that all my fellow fans are respected you must have misunderstood.. yes i said some people dont even watch games .. someting i cam to notice.. i didnt mean you by that
Somehow, they can’t shine at Inter. In case of Shaqiri, Kova, Bennasi. They are stars in making. I think Ausilio already mention about this cycle, especially on Coutinho case. There was regret when the young player shine in other club, but they have a problem also to develop at Inter. Maybe, this is more structural problem. I don’t know about supporter in Italy, I guess they demand high on trophy. Then, its hard to obtain that goal if we based the backbone of the team on young players.
Yes you right Mr Strama. When Coutinho in Inter his body balance is bad and injury pronounce, so its right Inter sell him to Pool. About trophy, just tell me the truth, do you all can stand when our team is like Arsenal?? But sorry I’m not. So if Kova go and we get Scudetto like Ibra why not 🙂
No, I choose scudetto. What I am trying to say, if we want to build a team with young player as the core. We should manage our expectation on the team as well. 🙂
Yes you right Mr Strama, I agree with you. I’ve seen other comments about Situation in Club, about Kova, etc. Hell we all INTERISTI. We dont fight each other. So let’s Management work first and let we see the result.
Forza Inter!
inter fools, they should look at Roma, and if you wanna win and be winner you should have a “fuck fifa fair play rule” attitude.. finish your cermonial respect fools lets see who is gonna be left to respect inter, when loss after another will shake your fucking ground, we will see carpi thrashing goals past mancini’s dumb ass footbal weirdness ..
It takes time before we in the Roma phase, in terms of financially.
Nonsense. They utilised scouts, decided on a style of play and bought accordingly. We look for instant gratification buying established players, constantly change styles. We are way off
You’re right.. If we stick with Mancini and the team identity is clear. It will make easier.
inter Milan could have used to bargin Isco, 20 mil plus isco, and snatch isco right under Juventus nose.. fools
I think this is a good deals. He will benchwarmer at Real and Inter can buy him back with half price after 2 seasons 😀
he should compete with modric. 😐
Though Kovacic is my most favorite player in the world, but I accept the transfer because my love for the club is greater. At least it’s not a very dumb move like Guarin/Vucinic or selling Sneijder for 7m, and it doesn’t make us look like idiots.
Mateo is only 21, and I’m sure as Nerazzurri fans, we made nice enough memories for him, that he comes back one day.
Let’s buy Nasri, Perisic, and Conterao and go after Jube.
Forza Inter.
Its hard to say but we better sell kova to real with good price, i know his very potential young player, but only strama who can utilize him well.
I wish you a great success with RM, and hopefully you can come back oneday… Thank you for your loyalty.
Thanks kovacic..!!!!
Too bad, I am leaving already. 🙁
I agree with you. In Sneijder case, we have to sell him cause his salary is not in equivalence with his price.
Kova is one of the most talented players I have ever seen and Inter should have held on to him!! He has so much potential to become one of the worlds best and with more game time 35m for him will seem like shit. I feel Inter is doing the same mistake like when they sold Pirlo… Sad sad day..
Bergomi had his say on the matter http://www.fcinternews.it/in-primo-piano/bergomi-a-fcin-kovacic-decisione-giusta-mai-al-100-jj-e-medel-ripieghi-193046
Yes, and he was exactly correct on all accounts. It was a great deal for inter. Plus inter loves taking Real’s money. Gnoukourie has already taken Kovacic place
Gnoukouri is a very different type of player to Kovacic.
We still need a number 10.
if we get perisic, it will be work just find for us..
Perisic is mainly a winger though. and he’s not the most suited for a number 10 role, he’s got decent passing but I can’t see him running through and dribbling through defenses when we need someone to make the difference.
actualy he played there before and he was really good too in that role.. so don’t worry.. but we must have plan b if we fail to sign perisic..
I really hope it’s not Perotti.
Sliemani is that you?
I though bad management days are behind us but no, its the same shi**y treatment we show toward players, we give them false hope and they fall to contract extension then we sell them, sorry Kovacic you were deceived just like us.
INTER promised to build a team around these young talents that clearly impressed REAL MADRID but not us, the player appealed to a team full of bench warmers and more importantly in kovacic position, actually we destroyed his career, now I wished we haven’t bought him at the first place because this INTER shows how low thy can get and show the middle finger to all fans who thought finally kovacic can play without such pressure from the media and cheap A$$ managers like Mazzari and Mancini…
I remember when Mancini/Mazzari used to blame Kovacic when they are losing, when guarin with zero attacking quality plays in kovacic position….
I have a feel INTER bought him for cheap to sell but not to build a team… simply used as a scapegoat.
I have never felt ashamed of supporting a club like this moment…
Sorry man, but midle finger to fans? Which one? Im total for selling Kovacic and look at vote pole at Internews.it. The majority of Inter fans are for selling him for 35 mil. This is goog for Kova too. He never developed in a pleyer he could so we should give him chance to develop himself somewhere else. Also, do you realy think that Kova wants to stay with us with Real around the corner? Dont fool yourself.
Wait and see what we do with the money first. If we bring in average players like we always do then it is definitely not worth it. Remember what we did with the Coutinho money? Do the names Schelotto and Pereira ring any bells. Great deal that was. We have a history of selling talented players and buying junk to fill gaps. Dont be surprised if the same happens again
we tried him in every position in midfield. Yet, it is failed.
One of my by big hope for inter to challenge the title is Kovacic to have brilliant performances constantly over the championship. Now he is leaving as well as my hope.
35 million plus bonuses which will take it to 40 mil is actually very good for an inconsistent player such as kovacic. No other team would give us this amount of money except real. I understand that his price is very likely to rise, however, Inter cannot afford to wait two or three years for him to further develop and actually be the superstar of the team. So all in all, a very good deal from a financial point of view. Now the important thing is to bring either two wingers (either perisic/mertens/nasri/perotti) and a left back, preferably coentrao or siquera.
From financial point of view, it does good. But what’s better if we can sell the deadweights, who are earning without even on the bench. I must highlight that Kovacic is our starting eleven. So, it still good but can be better.
Kova has never been key player. I can remember only one single game when he was critical and that was against amateurs (Stjarnan) in Europa league whan he scored hat trick.
Kovacic, Icardi, and Handa is. Let say that one of them was not perform well, we almost surely would draw or lose the game. Kovacic is one of the few who brought quality and creativity last season.
I watched last season games and I didnt see that. Even Guarin had better stats (but i know he is shit anyway).
Last season was a disastrous one. Remember, when he tried so hard to make things happen on his own and burdened by all the creativity issues. I might be bias a little, but still Kovacic is my bright morning star who was giving me the joy and the hope for a better tomorrow.
creativity!? i hate to admit this.. most of the crucial assist last season come from our dead weigth mr. guarin.. the player that we hate so much for his shooting skill.. and later it’s hernades that create something for us..kova never really step up his game.. he is indeed our hot prospect, but compare to icardi he still have a long way to go..
Here’s some state of Kovacic 2014/2015 by whoscored.com
He played 2463 minutes, less than Handa, Icardi, and Medel.
He scored 5 times and assisted 3 times if its combines, he is behind icardi, palacio, fredy, and hernanes.
He is averagely behind shaqiri and hernanes for the key play 1.8 per game compare to 1.9 per game, but remember, he played more often than the two.
He successfully registered 2.6 dribble per game, only less than Fredy who registered an incredible 2.9 dribble per game.
He is fouled an average1.5 times per game, lesser than Palacio who has 1.7. it means the only way to stop his run is to foul him.
His passing met the target 87.3%, only lesser than Medel who has a stunning 91.8%.
His through balls which found the target was averagely 0.3, more than any player.
And what made him important was the fact that Inter’s style of playing is short passes and attempting through balls often.
That’s made him a key player.
His statistic might be good but he’s not decisive for us, which makes him not a key player yet. Medel, icardi, palacio, and handa was our key players last season because they were irreplacable.
Medel plays too slow. He stops the transition from defence and attack.
it doesnt change the fact he was both mazzarri and mancini’s key player last season.
thanks, greta info check the play time, most his time play was awarded under Mazzarri, most of his goals where under Mazzarri.. Mancini didnt know how to use him, even the media said so
Yeah thats for sure. It was really great time seeing him dribble through opponent players. I had high hopes for him.
Yes, he can be better in the future.
In two or three years his price will rise about the same like Bale at least and that’s when Real laughing harder..
Agree.. Its a great deal.
God, I never tought I would feel ashame as interista but today is that day. Don´t care about money, they fucking selling our soul these fuckers!
It’s such a disgrace,it has to be the lowest point I have ever seen since I was an inter supporter and that says alot.
You two should go support Real Madrid now, Kovacic would of been a bench warmer for this whole season. When inter starts to win again everyone would of forgotten about Kovacic. It will be Kovacic Who……
Calm down bro. just wait until the championship ends and then assess. I know for sure a lot of people were upset when Ibra was sold but little did they know that we were gonna got treble that year.
Chill mate..
I am not your mate and mind your fucking bussines!
woaaa..
At least the money is good…
yes, to buy players on a way down. Motta, Leiva or Perotti. God damn these lying bunch of ashols that they sold Kova.
Best of luck to Kova. I hope he develops to become one of the best in the world.
I hope he gets playing time
From football point of view, it will make barca vs RM more interesting.
