The sale of Mateo Kovacic to Real Madrid through the eyes of Massimo Moratti. The former owner of Inter expressed his view on the sale conducted by the leadership of Inter when he spoke to Mediaset:
“I have nothing more to do with Inter’s finances and do not look at the Financial Fair Play, but it seems like a good deal. I believe it was a wise move. After all, the player had a lot more to prove. He was my final big signing and we paid around €14m for him. I am neither happy nor sad to see Kovacic go, but I repeat, I think it was a good move.”
