A lot has been written the last few days about possible and impossible dealings between Inter and Napoli. Here is what la Gazzetta dello Sport writes about a supposed proposal of an exchange from Napoli:
“Napoli offered a straight swap with Inter exchanging Ghoulam for Juan Jesus. But Inter turned it down.”

The swap deal wasn’t a good one for either club. Juan Jesus is still a young player that can be sold for a reasonable rate. If the brazilIan were to be sold this summer his replacement should be Olympiakos French fullback Arthur Masuaku. There has also been rumor that Nerazzuri Captain Andrea Ranoccia is being courted by English Premier side Everton if Mancini gives the green light on the transfer his replacement should be another Frenchmen in Udinese central back Thomas Heurtaux. Masuaku and Heurtaux are versatile players that can play in different positions in formations, Masuaku can play in central defense or in his natural position left back and Heurtaux can play in a defensive midfield role or in central defense. The French duo are solid quality players that would make the NerazzurrI back line the stingiest in Serie A this season.

Please don’t mention winger and Fredy in the same line. That’s where the hate for him began playing out wide for mazzari. If guarin has player’s better than him or equal, he could play and be the player he truly is. Roma or Juve formations for example have a gap for a Guarin.

He’s just like Vidic with huge wages for a bench warmer coming from the EPL and now with both clubs looking to change a lot of first team players, lower average age, system or formation changes etc. they are out of favour & form.
Roma got some good use out of Gervinho who was easily the best dribbler bar Cuadrado MAYBE in serie a 2013/14, playing even as a false 9 & he even learned how to shoot.
Vidic is of no use to Inter on the pitch, maybe the worst signing in over 10 year’s. I still can’t understand it he was obviously way past his best. Maybe Murillo has learned a thing or 2 from a once top notch CB pity Vidic doesn’t speak Spanish as 3/4 of the defence now does.
I never disbelieved you. I think Gervinho could be still of use to Roma as there new wingers aren’t exactly thriving. He always played well against us it seemed too.
Any player consistently starting in a top 5 English Premier league team is almost guaranteed to walk into a very high salary by Serie A standards. He’s Roma’s Vidic except Gervinho or as I like to call him ‘predator forehead’ is still potentially useful. Vidic learned Italian, he better learn Spanish too now and teach Murillo.
Gervinho on his day tears defences a new one. Perhaps I’m jealous of Roma and their 5 wingers.
