Schelotto: “The reason I resolved my contract with Inter”

He has yet to choose where to continue his career, meanwhile Ezequiel Schelotto has finally closed his professional relationship with Inter. Interviewed by TMW, the Argentine also speaks of this:

Not an easy choice to terminate the contract.
“I decided together with my family to resolve my contract with Inter, which had two years remaining. So we decided together with Ausilio and Fassone, I didn’t enter in the plans of coach and then I did not want to be dropped from the team. The resolution gives me a chance to find a team at any time.”

So, now you are ready to get back on track.
“I don’t have an agent anymore, I’m without an agent. I and my family are evaluating various offers, many teams have contacted me by people who act as intermediaries. I will do like this, to find the best solution for my future. I’m thinking if I continue to play in Italy, I have time until December 28. Otherwise I will find other things, I was contacted to return to Argentina and I’m thinking about it. But there is one thing I’d like to clarify.”

Please.
“Who wants me must call me. Not other people.”

You could have moved to Palermo, what happened?
“There was a survey, but on the last day of the transfer market Palermo decided that the squad was fine the way it was. Therefore, we did not close the deal. I was at home and waiting for a team. There was a few hours until the end of the transfer market, so I made the resolution.”

Any regrets about the experience at Inter?
“I played there only six months, then I moved to Parma and Chievo Verona. I would have liked a few more chances like many others, but people understand that I’m a humble guy, I gave everything for the shirt. Maybe I didn’t do what was expected, but if I had a bit of time I could have demonstrated that I would be useful to Inter. I thank the fans who write to me on Twitter, they have understood me. I hope that Inter can do a great championship and return to play the in the European cups.”

At Chievo, on the other hand, you wanted to settle.
“I did everything to continue to wear the shirt of Chievo. If others had made the efforts that I did, I’d be a player from Chievo Verona. From the last day that I was at Chievo I haven’t heard from anyone from the leadership, but It is water under the bridge. I know I behaved well. Maybe the others haven’t done the same.”
