Inter’s future looks very promising as a record breaking 26 youth players were called up for international duty from August to today.
Here is the list of the youngsters who have been called up:
Italy U16: Andrea Adorante, Davide Bettella, Salvatore Esposito, Lorenzo Gavioli, Davide Grassini, Davide Merola and Thomas Schirò are in line to play back to back friendlies against Switzerland. Nicola Tintori and Elia Visconti were picked for the FIFA tournament in Moscow.
Italy U18: Alessandro Mattioli has been called up for a friendly against the Czech Republic.
Belgium U17: Zinho Vanheusden will hope to feature in three European Championship qualification matches against Slovenia, the Faroe Islands and Turkey.
Belgium U19: Senna Miangue is in the squad for a friendly against KSV Roeselare.
Czech Republic U18: Dominik Smekal has been picked for a friendly against Italy.
Slovenia U17: Luka Kerin has been selected for a European Championship qualification game.
The following players have already picked up minutes on the pitch with their countries:
Italy U17: Andrea Pinamonti and Federico Valietti played at the St George’s Park Tournament 2015 hosted by the English FA.
Italy U19: Federico Di Marco, Fabio Della Giovanna (who was unable to play because of injury) and Enrico De Micheli were included in the squads that played Holland and Ireland.
Albania U17: Frenci Qeros took part in a training camp that was followed by a friendly.
Brazil U17: Matias Antonini Lui featured in a training camp in Rio de Janeiro, followed by the Suwon Cup in South Korea.
Ireland U17: Ryan Patrick Nolan was in the squad for back to back friendlies against Hungary.
Portugal U19: Pedro Delgado was selected in the squads that contested European Championship qualification games against Switzerland and Spain.
