Federico Dimarco, the left-footed winger born in 1997, tied to Inter until June 2018, is one of the new stars from the youth sector of Nerazzurri. He played a great preseason, Mancini is counting on him enough to train permanently with the first team, even though he has made a few trips back to coach Vecchi’s Primavera. Until now, however, the Mancinelli placed him on the bench against Atalanta, Fiorentina and Carpi and, in between, the call to the national U19. Now there’s nothing left but the debut in the shirt of Inter in Serie A. Our partner FcInterNews.it spoke with the player’s agent, Giuseppe Riso.

Riso, will the player stay in Milan or will he leave Inter in January to grow further and mature on loan with another club?
“It is too early to talk about it, the season started recently and it is not yet time to make considerations: we will see what will happen between now and December. It will also depend, though not much, on what the needs of Mancini will be.”

The position of Dimarco, a left-footed winger, is a delicate position today at Inter.
“It is a delicate position everywhere. Federico was born in 1997 but, having been born in November, it can be said that he is almost a 1998. He is considered one of the best prospects at European level among young professional players.”

And then there is the showcase of the national U19…
“… That gives him an international feel both when it comes to his human and professional growth, as well as the interest on the transfer market.”

Back to Inter, so far he has only been on the bench: do you expect the debut?
“I don’t expect it, but he will conquer it on the pitch.”

The considerations, in short, in December.
“As mentioned before, Mancini will decide in consequence of what will be its needs for the first team. The interest on the transfer market, in Italy and abroad, is there: we will see what will happen…”
