Rey Manaj: “It would be an honor to play for the national team”

Rey Manaj talked to the media after yesterday’s Trofeo Berlusconi and had the following things to say:

“I was very happy to read the words of the national team coach. If I’ve talked to him? Yes, and we’ll meet tomorrow(today) for a lunch in Milan. For me it would be an honor to be a part of the national team.”

Gazzetta dello Sport praised the young striker and analyzed his performance in the following way:

“Rey played for 61 minutes and it’s a kid who gave everything he had. He had a good chance that was blocked by Mexes. He began as striker and then changed to a winger. His first derby started with tough challenges, the first one from De Jong(that shows how things are with the seniors) and the second one came from Cerci. The battle with Mexes went on and both players gave and took, at the end they shook hands and it was all a game without anger. Manaj fears noone and nothing.”
