D’Ambrosio to Sky: “You have to give the coach selection headaches. Good win, but now we think about the next game”

Danilo D’Ambrosio has been speaking to Sky after his first start of the season in Inter’s 1-0 win against Roma at the San Siro.

“This morning I felt I would play but it wasn’t till 19:00 that I was sure. We must continue like this and always give the coach selection headaches. These three points give us a good feeling but to achieve important goals we should not think that beating Roma is the end of the job.”

“Now we want to win our next match. On a personal level I can say that the game is a result of the work we did during the week and with a little luck, you have a good game.”

“Certainly today the game was not exactly easy given the opponents but the coach started with a team he considered better to do well against Roma and this is a source of pride.”

“That tackle on Dzeko? Samir Handanovic always tells us to cover up on his saves and I saw Dzeko behind me so I went to cover him.”
