Mauro: “Inter played great football against Genoa”

The sports journalist Massimo Mauro applauded Inter on his blog after the game against Genoa:

“I believe that Inter knowing that they lost against Napoli without deserving it has really started something. Against Genoa they also played some great football, they created a lot of chances and didn’t concede anything to the “Rossoblu”. Inter played well on the midfield and had their players running into the spaces and I believe it was a great performance. Roberto Mancini is leading this team without making mistakes and his tactical decisions are almost always proven right. You can also see a great signal of strength from Mancini in the way he is handling Mauro Icardi. The rules Mancini has set are just what is needed to arrive to the fighting for something important. It’s also clear that Icardi is a player Inter needs, but he also needs to prove and understand that he wants to enter the team spirit. If he’s concentrated on being an egoist, I think Icardi will play very few games.”
