Speaking on TRT Turk, Javier Zanetti touched on several issues related to Inter, first the performance this season: “Roberto Mancini is doing very well, the results obtained so far reveal that. Of course, the championship is long and we still have many difficult games to play. We hope we can go on like this.”
Regarding the transfer market Zanetti added: “We haven’t talked about any possible transfers yet, Mancini will tell us what we need, we will act in line with his demands. Özyakup is not among the objectives.”
He also commented on the Champions League, for which Zanetti indicates a favorite: “I think that Barcelona is still the main candidate.” On Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, the two Turkish representatives in Europe: “They are two great teams, I think they can play an important role in European competitions.”
