The winter transfer window has now officially opened in Italy, as many of the clubs are aiming to strengthen their squads. Today the main Italian papers have given us their headlines for the main stories that will follow later in the day:
La Gazzetta Dello Sport- The great duel between Icardi and Marchisio has begun. The Inter striker is a man on a mission: score more goals, make the Champion League, and win gold in Rio 2016. Lavezzi and Calleri to Inter. For Dodo there is a derby between Sampdoria and Genoa.
Il Corriere Dello Sport- Ranocchia and Calleri are here. Bologna and Inter are in talks.
Tuttosport- Inter could get Izzo for free from Enrico Preziozi to replace Ranocchia and Vidic. The Genoa player will arrive on loan.
