Erick Thohir was interviewed by Goal Indonesia and had the following things to say:
“I hope that Mancini and the players can react to the loss against Sassuolo straight away. I expect that they get themselves together for the game this weekend. I don’t believe we need to panic because our target remains the Champions League. Only the media and the fans are talking about the Scudetto. I think that that the game against Sassuolo left many of us speechless, but this is football. We had 50% chance to win and to lose. We attacked constantly but the ball wouldn’t go in.”
Thohir continued talking about his thoughts on the season:
“I’m quiet satisfied with the performances of the team this season. It’s a new team that had many players added during the summer. Our objective remains the Champions League, but if we manage to win of course that’s better. I’m quiet satisfied with the performances of the team.”
