Fredy Guarin is a player clearly held in high regard by Roberto Mancini. The Colombian’s future is a hot topic as Chinese club Jiangsu Suning. Jiangsu are offering Guarin a lot of money, but Mancini recently stated his intentions: “He [Guarin] is an important player for us.” These statments were made after Guarin received an incredible offer from China. Guarin is cautios: “I do not know. The intention and the place I will play depends on the club.”
Roberto Soriano has been indentified as the replacement. Mancini said: “Soriano is great. He is different from Guarin. He has improved a lot over the years.”
