Sampdoria’s sporting director Carlo Osti took time out of his 58th birthday celebrations to speak to Telenord about the transfer rumours relating to the club:
“We have important players that we need. This resulted in our success in recent years, and we have helped our players grow. We are heading into the final 10 days of the mercato knowing that we need all of our jewels, but they must truly believe in the Sampdoria project. We need to find a balance between sales and revenue. Eder? We need all of our players. He is one of the strongest attackers in Italy. He is here, and we want to have an awesome Sampdoria. However we are aware that there are teams that want our players.”
