After the 1-0 win against Chievo, Mauro Icardi was interviewed by Inter Channel to share his thoughts on the match: “In the first half many balls went to me but I didn’t find the back of the net. Then the right ball came and I scored. There are things that happen during a match where you can’t do anything, I hit the cross-bar after a great cross by Nagatomo, a shame. It was a difficult match, we had to get back to winning ways, doesn’t matter if it’s only by 1-0. What matters is the 3 points. Their goalkeeper was great, we could have scored more goals. Cirticism? Seems like we cant do anything. If we win we’re playing poorly, if we don’t win they attack us on all fronts. If we look at the standings we’re still there, we played poorly in January but that’s over now. February began well, we hope to continue like this.”
