Eder: “I immediately agreed when Inter wanted me”

Speaking exclusively to Mediaset Premium on the sidelines of a Nike event, Inter’s newest signing Eder returned to talk about the draw at the Bentegodi, 3-3 against Hellas: “The goals came from three similar incidents in a game in which Inter did well. In the standings we are still there, we remain positive and look forward. On Sunday there is a big game and there are many points at stake between now and the end of the season. It is normal that the match is judged by the result, but Inter created and did far more than Verona.”

The Nerazzurri will be back in training Wednesday before the away match in Florence against Fiorentina: “We will review the set pieces, because, as the coach said, to concede three goals that way punishes you. If I risk getting burned at Inter? There are so many problems in the world, I do not think I’ll run that risk. We have many points, we have to train well and that way the results will come. Napoli and Juventus on the run for the title? They broke away and the gap is now a lot of points, but while they went through difficult moments at the beginning Inter was flying, it is happening to us now and who knows that it can’t happen again to them. When there are so many points available you must always believe.”

Closing on the proposal of Ranieri from Leicester: “I thank Ranieri, it is true that we talked about it, I was happy about his words. But the adaptation to England would not have been easy, and when I found out of Inter’s interest, knowing the greatness of the club and its story, I immediately agreed. I wish Ranieri good luck because he is a great person and a great coach. I hope he wins the Premier League.”
