Sevilla wants Banega to sign a contract renewal as soon as possible and has two ways to get it. This as reported by il Diario de Sevilla about the situation concerning the Argentine midfielder. The first option is to force the player to accept the club’s demands, lower than those from abroad, but which will make him one of the highest paid in the club. The second is exercising the option in the contract that kicks in after the 30th appearance, and this could happen in six games and in doing so it would automatically renew the contract in order to sell him to the highest bidder. Now it’s Banega who has the ball and must choose what to do.
