Sky Sport report that Mauro Icardi left Appiano Gentile earlier today and while he was on his way out the captain reassured worried fans outside. Icardi suffered an injury to his knee the first minutes against Bologna. But the medical staff at the club is said to be pessimistic about the possibility of Icardi playing against Roma. Coach Roberto Mancini confirmed yesterday that Stevan Jovetic will not be available and with Rodrigo Palacio suspended Mancini does not have a lot pf choices up front.
