After the formalisation of the International Champions Cup fixtures set to take place next summer, in which we will see Inter play against giants like PSG, Bayern Munich and Chelsea, Inter CEO Michael Bolingbroke had this to say: “We are honoured to participate in this event with other top clubs such as Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich, PSG and Chelsea. It will be our fourth time participating in this competition and the fifth time we have visited the United States during a summer tour”. The former Manchester United man continued: “The US is a very important market for Inter and the tournament will be a great opportunity for our American fans to get closer to the club and to the players at the stadium as well as on television, thanks to live broadcasts on ESPN. Football is in a state of continued rapid growth in the US and we are eager to play our games against PSG in Eugene, Oregon; Bayern Munich in Charlotte, North Carolina and against Celtic when we return to Europe. We will also play some friendly matches during our stay in the US, of which news of the date and opponents will soon be announced”.
