Negotiations between Suning Commerce Group and Erick Thohir over the groups possible 20% shares acquisition are underway. The idea was born during the missed Fredy Guarin transfer to Jiangsu (a SCG property). Erick Thohir discussed directly with the owner Zhang Jindong. His group is not the only chinese one interested in a share at Inter, but at the moment is the one that would accept a minority share. The reason? Through Inter SCG could enter the european market with a headquarter in Milano, a city very suitable for business. If the deal would completed, Inter could get money and brand awarenes in China and Thohir could keep the club ownership even if he sells part of his shares.
