According to a report in today’s Corriere dello Sport, Inter Sporting Director Piero Ausilio has shortlisted Sassuolo’s Acerbi and Bologna’s Giaccherini, two Italian players that won’t cost a lot.
The newspaper reports further that Inter’s interest in Sampdoria’s Soriano remains but if Ever Banega was to arrive that idea could remain just an idea. Corriere writes: “Instead eyes on Candreva and Berardi as wingers. They are much liked as is Bayer Leverkusen’s Bellarabi but the Italian players are preferred due to being Italian, one being a national team player, the other being an U-21 Italian player. Negotiating with Lazio and Sassuolo however is always difficult and it could be necessary to spend around €20 million.”
