Interviewed by Torcedores, former Inter striker Adriano Leite Ribeiro spoke on his experience at Inter, where he had lots of wonderful moments and others to forget. The current Miami United player started with a sweet memories of Italy and Inter: “I love the country and Inter is in my heart. I am very sincere when I say these things. I get excited every time I hear the songs by Curva Nord devoted to me.” The Brazilian born in 1982 didn’t use the same kind words when he spoke about the media: “I’m always watched, but they often spoke without knowing the background of things and without obtaining information. I have never denied the reality of the facts, but some preferred to publish things that were false rather than asking me and my entourage. I suffered an injury to the tendon and this stopped me, but nobody knew that.” He closed by speaking about the moment in the summer of 2004 that left deep scars: “The loss of my father was a very difficult time, it was really difficult. My family helped me a lot during that time, they have always been close to me. Like my father, who still today is, and always will be, by my side.”
