The future for Jonathan Calleri, the Argentine striker owned by Deportivo Maldonado now on loan to São Paulo until July, is yet to be written. Last January, there were lots of rumors claiming there was a strong involvement by Inter for the former Boca striker, rumors that not seem to have faded away: “Calleri to Inter? We don’t know – explained the sporting director of São Paulo Luiz Cunha -, it doesn’t depend on us, but on his agents. In winter there was talk of Porto as a possible destination. but apparently the idea is another now.”
