Inter are in pole position for Feyenoord’s free agent Tonny Vilhena according to Tuttosport. They write that Inter are ahead of Milan, Juventus, Lazio, Fiorentina and a few Spanish clubs that are all after the 21 year old midfielder.
“He started as a trequartista and has played as a winger as well, but last season he has played as a regista in Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s 4-2-3-1. This tactical evolution seems to have convinced Inter to talk to the player’s entourage, since Inter need someone to run midfield. Sporting director Ausilio has already brought in Banega on free transfer, but the Argentine plays higher up in the pitch at Sevilla, he plays as a trequartista in the 4-2-3-1. The same tactic that Inter will use frequently next season. Mancini as is known would like Yaya Touré to join Inter, but beyond the physical decline that is worrying he has also asked for a salary three times higher than the one Vilhena wants.”
