Antonio Rudiger tore his ACL in a Germany training session in the lead up to the Euro’s. The centre back will be out of action for a long time and as a result Roma need to find somebody to fill in in his absence. Mehdi Benatia has been continually linked with a return but financially it would prove a tricky deal for Roma. Gazzetta dello Sport report that Roma could look to Inter for his replacement. Jeison Murillo or Juan Jesus could kit up for the Giallorossi next season, with it most likely being the latter due to him already being close to joining in January on loan with an option to buy attached.
