Inter will be competing in the UEFA Europa League next season. One of the requirements to enter the competition for Serie A clubs is to have 1 club academy trained player and 4 players who come from Italian academies. Inter will have to keep at least one of Santon, Biabiany, and Andreolli to fill the club academy slot. Regarding player’s trained in Italy, Inter have D’Ambrosio, Icardi, Ranocchia, and Jovetic. According to Il Corriere Dello Sport, the latter two will be sold this summer. This is why Inter are targeting Sassuolo’s Domenico Berardi. The Italian winger would give Inter enough Italian trained players to compete in Europe.
