It was announced today by the AFA (Asociación del Fútbol Argentino) a list with the first nine players confirmed by coach Gerardo Martino for the Rio Olympics. The names are: Geronimo Rulli (Real Sociedad ), Emanuel Mammana (River Plate ), Jonathan Silva (Boca Juniors), Jose Luis Gomez (Lanus), Mauricio Martinez (Unión de Santa Fe), Giovani Lo Celso (Rosario Central) Leandro Paredes (Empoli), Cristian Espinoza (Huracan) and Angel Correa (Atlético Madrid). The thirty man squad, including four reserves, will be announced in the coming days. The wait obviously concerns Mauro Icardi, Paulo Dybala and Jonathan Calleri. The federation will meet on July 4 in Ezeiza to start the preparations for the Games.
