Yesterday, Martin Caceres’ contract with Juventus officially expired, leaving him free to find another club.
According to reports, the Uruguayan is spoilt for choice, with all of AC Milan, Roma, Napoli, Inter and Fiorentina credited with interest.
However, Inter might just have the edge on all of the club’s mentioned above, due to the fact Roberto Mancini’s side have just completed the signing of Matias Foncesca, son of the old Juventus striker Daniel who is the agent of Martin Caceres.
Inter are monitoring the situation of Caceres, who suffered an achilles injury, and they may match his request of a €2.5 million, two-year-deal if they see he has recovered from the injury.
