Gazzetta dello Sport concludes in today’s newspaper that Inter and Zenit have agreed terms for the transfer of Belgian midfielder Axel Witsel to the Nerazzurri.
According to the report, Zenit have accepted Inter’s offer of €22 million and have surpassed Merseysie duo Liverpool and Everton in the race to sign the midfielder. The Gazzetta also concludes that Witsel will make the move officially within the next week or next week at the latest and that Roberto Mancini is prepared to sacrifice Marcelo Brozovic to finance the transfer. However, Brozovic won’t be allowed to leave for a fee under €25 million.
