Two names who have been linked with the Inter job are former Ajax boss Frank De Boer and Leonardo.
These are two contrasting options; one is a long-term option who needs a project, the other a stopgap and would likely settle for just one year contract and then be substituted by Diego Pablo Simeone.
The Dutchman has always been admired by Thohir and Suning also like him, while the Brazilian is endorsed by Zanetti and Moratti. At the moment the favorite is De Boer, yesterday the Dutch ‘Telegraaf’ argued that there was a contact between Inter and the coach, also talking about a short meeting between his entourage and Inter leadership to be held in Milan, after the team will return from the United States.
The third option, one who remains in the background, is Cesare Prandelli, but the solution of the former coach of the national team. However, he is not convincing for the management and remains behind the two aforementioned candidates.
