Erick Thohir was interviewed by Gazzetta dello Sport after the heavy friendly defeat against Tottenham in Oslo.
“I think that we need to reinforce the team. As you all now we signed Candreva and finally people are happy about the fact that Inter believe in Italian players. We’ve always believed in Italian players, but we need to sign players that are at the high level Inter are at and I think Candreva is at that level. He’s a player we need, a right winger with experience. We think that he will be an important reinforcement for us.”
In conclusion, Thohir spoke about the Icardi situation stating that “he is our captain, we want to continue to work with him. It’s something we need to discuss because we’re a family and we must talk.”
