In order to bolster its defense for the upcoming season, Inter is stepping up its interest in Crotone defender Gianmarco Ferrari. In addition to Inter, the 24-year-old Italian defender is being pursued by Sassuolo and Juventus. Sassuolo had recently made initial bid of 4 million euros plus bonus, which was rejected by Crotone. It is thought that Crotone would not be interested in discussing transfer of Ferrari unless the incoming offer(s) starts at 6 million euros. Ferrari played an important role in helping Crotone earning its promotion from Serie B, playing 44 games, contributing two assists, and scoring one goal.
