According to the Sun, Premier League champions Leicester City is getting ready to launch 25 million pounds to secure the service of Gabriel Barbosa of Santos FC. To this end, Claudio Ranieri is planning to meet Santos chiefs, who are traveling to England, next week. The Sun also reported that Barbosa’s agent has been very keen on contacting many top clubs in Europe in order to drive up interest for his client. It is reported that Barcelona, Juventus, Inter, Manchester United, and Arsenal are already in contact with the agent. Meanwhile, Santos FC, after seeing Palmeiras receiving 27 million pounds for Gabriel Jesus, is reportedly unwilling to let go of its star striker for less than 30 million pounds.

The 19-year old Brazilian striker is currently on Olympics duty and has reportedly stated that he would decide on his future after the Olympics.
