Frank De Boer was interviewed by Premium Sport and he has made it clear he wants to keep a hold of Mauro Icardi: “For me it’s a fantastic experience to be here, I’m happy to start my work in a such important club like Inter. I played and trained great squads, but this is for me a step ahead because of the tradition of the club and I want to bring them back to where deserve to stay. Icardi? He’s very important for us, he’s the one who scored the most in the last 2 seasons and we don’t want to lose him. I told the management and Ausilio: I want Icardi to remain. We, as staff and as a club club, need to persuade him. Icardi is in the best place, here he can improve again. I’m sure we can do it, I’m waiting for working with him.”
