According to Gianlucadimarzio.com, Inter is interested in signing Newcastle midfielder Moussa Sissoko. It is reported that the player’s agent had a meeting earlier today with Inter representatives in Milan. It is no secret that the French midfielder wants to leave Newcastle following the club’s relegation from the English Premier League, citing the “need of playing at the highest level” as his reason. However, Newcastle and its coach, Rafa Benitez, have warned earlier this week that they will not sell their prized midfielder on the cheap. It is reported that Newcastle has put a £35 million price tag for Sissoko.
It is still unclear, however, whether Inter new owners want to sign both Moussa Sissoko and Joao Mario or the owners only see Sissoko as an alternative to Joao Mario. Frank de Boer, meanwhile, sees Joao Mario and Moussa Sissoko as “interesting players who could complement one another.”

oh god no not sissoko, would rather have joa mario tbh atleast he is good, sissoko is just mediocre
Pjanic was only sold for that because Rube activated his release clause.
If Roma hadnt put in such a relatively low clause, then there is no way he would have gone for that price.
Yeah, Rafa had been playin us.
No! This guy is like a birdshooter Guaro and we all know how that ended.
His current fair price is 13m, buy him 15m will be ok, buy him 10m will be a steal, buy him 45m will be stupid, as easy as that!!!
Not to mention that every player in BPL had their ‘transfermarkt price’ inflated 2-3x of their actual price. I don’t think he’ll be an upgrade from Medel.
Let’s just bring up this guy, Luan, and Blind! and then, we are done with this transfer market 😉
Yes talking about fair finance policy or I don’t know what exactly they call it, its clear that all small clubs are over rating their players and selling with crazy figures, those responsible can’t see but to blame the buyers, where is the fair in that, they should make it simple and force taxes on transfers better than disarm teams infavour of others.
im watching brazil vs germany and i will never understand why we were interested in this barbosa… he is so low in passing and pace plus he seems brainless…
instead we should have gone for this young german left back from promoter leipzig called lukas klostermann. he is a beast already whole olympia and he is eating barbosa for lunch. unbelieveable left back talent but not really talent anymore since he is playing a good olympia… but his price tag shouldnt be that high…
man i dont get it why our management is not capable of focusing on such promising talents, especially coz we dont really have a good history anyways with left n right backs since maicon and chivu………………
edit: im pro sissoko. he really impressed me in euro championsip but not for all costs ofcourse since he anyways wants to leave newcastle for any price…
Get rid of Melo and Brozovic and get Sissoko, if the money from Brozovic isn’t for Joao Mario. Brozovic lack confidence, unfortunately.
I’d rather have brozovic than sissoko.. i’m sure with De Boer he can improve
Great player but not really comparable to Joao Mario I think where Mario is a very technical player Sissoko is a superb physical monster! The two could indeed play next to one another – And give our midfield a quality lift compared to rest years players like Kuzmanovic, Guarin and Melo just to mention a few!
English fans have nothing good to say about Sissoko, they are all saying he is pretty average..I would be disappointed if we end up with him instead of Mario, especially if we pay anything above 18-20 mil..
absolutely agree…but honestly…I also agree with FDB that they are both good and complete each other
this guy is the real deal, he is like a younger lassana diarra, he and Kondogbia can be the force to fear in Serie A.
though he is in his prime and should prove to be expensive for his age but with newcastle not in premier league we should sign him for a little discount, this deal is possible, i say 30m isn’t bad for his quality and about right for his age, though his arrival means for sure Brozovic is leaving and i dont mind that for the right guy, this one though is the right deal i believe.
Lassana Diarra ?
He’s been a RW for the majority of his carreer and have played a few times as a box to box midfielder but never in front of the defense as Lassana Diarra…
Exactly, he succeded in both positions, he is a versatile player just like Joao Mario, a player that can play central or wide.
reason i compared him to Lassana is his ability to hold and protect the ball and move forward when needed (most of his attacks start from counter attacks) he is very physical too.
technically both great, true Lassana played central more but i find this a bit of limitation if you ask me.
Moussa is ideal replacement to brozovic but maybe not medel, though i believe he can succeed in that postion CDM in a compact collective team style of football, in classical football CDM contribution is limited but nowadays he has to do more than chase attackers or distribute the ball.
Yup but I think that we already have a physical monster with averagw technical ability with K-Dog,
I personnaly think that the technical ability of Jao Mario will help us more
Okay Sissoko i don’t mind bringing you in
Just pay your release clause and you are more than welcome LOL
Sorry but £35 million my ass
yup…20 maximum 22 is his price
honestly i would consider taking him only for 15M and not a penny more, he is a very mediocre player.
He isn’t a bad player but his price is massively inflated because of Real Madrid interest and decent World Cup performance. I wouldn’t pay anywhere near £35m for him.
World Cup? Maybe EURO 🙂
Yes, my bad, misstyped.
Do you watch his game in club level? many newcastle fans he is bad player… i agree his value must be lower than broz considering his age
