Perisic been playing all preseason after a pretty hectic euros…maybe he’s a bit leggy
The point of preseason is to get him fit to play in the league, last friendly was ages ago and it would make no sense to train him that hard so that he can’t play. I mean if he can’t play now, how is he sometimes going to play in both EL and Serie A. This is probably just a tactic move by De Boer to sub him on in the 2nd half, or maybe he has a slight injury.
I feel Perisic is left for a strategic replacement later on in the game
