Today’s defeat (where Gabigol still had a good match) was followed by a farewell to the fans of Santos, who now wish him luck on his new adventure. Gabigol wanted to say goodbye with a press conference held after his last game in Brazil, against Figueirense. These were his words, said with a few tears of emotion:
“I confirm, I’m going straight to Inter. The Nerazzurri represent a great opportunity for me, not only from an economical point of view, but also technical. At Santos I gave everything, it is the club in my heart and one day I will return here. It was my choice to transfer, which the club have helped me to do”.
