Gotta say again; Frank’s the man!! We have now a playing identity we didn’t really have all through last season, constantly changing players and tactics! Now we play a wingbased playing stile and every player on the pitch seems to know what to do in he’s area with and without the ball!! Great job Franky!
About the subs; Melo was a beast when he came on! Group didn’t do anything in his 20minuts and Eder was fine… about our surge for a left footed left back; don’t spend to much on someone – we got a true world class player in the making; DIMARCO!!!
I saw FBD was quite impressed by Dimarco. Dimarco created many problems for Inter and FDB knew that. FDB has many young guns in his pocket, ready to explode in the following years: Di Marco, Miangue, Caprari, Gabigol, Roger Martinez and the list goes on.
what do you mean? Did you SEE that Frank was impressed with Dimarco? Don´t think Franky Bouy has talked about him in any interviews yesterday or today?
But true we´re could have quite a few youngster coming on in the next years time, and then we got 3 players in Primavera who are thought to be very talented, an Italian striker, a Nigerian midfielder and a third one Im not sure who is 🙂

Just looked at the schedule, he’ll most likely be rested against Sparta. We play Roma on Oct 2nd game after Sparta… Don’t see us making it out of group stage in EL.

We played good this game. Started off with really hard pressing which benefited us, scored 2 early goals and came close to third many times. Empoli had some chances but nothing Handanović couldn’t handle. We dropped the tempo a bit later, it would be nice to see us score one or two more but just as important to keep our first clean sheet this season. Overall good game, satisfied, 3 wins in a row in Serie A after a poor start. De Boer’s posession and pressing style is really starting to show. Icardi is benefiting from the new lineup, 6 goals 1 assist in 5 games. New signings, Joao Mario, Banega and Candreva already have 5 assists. All of them are playing superbly, especially Joao Mario and Banega.

I hate being negitive but kondogbia has been an absolute disaster. Has been this way ever since we signed him.
I mean I wouldn’t mind having him for like €15m, but he has been nowhere near worth €35m.

He did play better at Sevilla and Monaco though. Still not good enough to be €35m worth.
