On Inter’s journey so far the technical hand of De Boer becomes ever more present, but incidentally so do the goals of Mauro Icardi, with the brace he scored last night he now finds himself with 6 goals in the league and has become the top scorer. Inter’s winning choice of holding the player tight and not giving in to the tempting proposals from Napoli is showing, and with the two goals he scored last night Icardi has now reached 58 goals in the Nerazzurri shirt, including 53 in 96 Serie A games. These are incredible numbers but, at the moment, they still aren’t enough to warrant a call from the Argentine National team.
